Testing Skype for iPhone

This is a follow up from a recent post about Skype in your iPhone or iPod.

It took me 5-10 minutes to download the Skype into my iPhone, install and login to my account. When you successfully login to your Skype account, the program will provide your a contact list including their pictures posted to Skype contact directory.

I'm so excited about it, so I tried it right away using my existing connection e.g. GPRS. I've got this error.

"Skype calls over 3G networks are currently not supported due to restrictions that may be placed on your data plan. For more information visit www.skype.com."

Maybe Skype hasn't realize that iPhone Data Plan in USA via AT&T (Cingular) is unlimited for a fixed monthy fees.

So I've tested this using WiFi connection and successfully initiated a call to a friend. It worked!

By the way, I was not able use my Jawbone bluebooth while using Skype iPhone.
